It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Chicago Blackhawks battle it out on the ice against the Montreal Canadiens in Week 4 of the regular season on Tuesday, November 4 at 7:30 p.m. EST at the Bell Centre in Quebec. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Tuesday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Following the first few opening weeks of the 2014 regular season, the Blackhawks snag the No. 8 spot in Pierre LeBrun's official NHL power rankings for ESPN.com with an impressive 6-5-1 winning record:
"Guess who is averaging only 2.25 goals per game? The Blackhawks have been stymied despite all their talent. It isn't for a lack of trying, with the Hawks launching 80 shots this weekend at Toronto and at home to Winnipeg but coming up with only two goals. It's just a matter of time before they explode for a bunch."
Meanwhile, the Canadiens aren't far behind, currently holding the No. 9 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 8-3-1 record. As LeBrun points out:
"The Canadiens host the Blackhawks on Tuesday at a time when the Habs aren't playing very well defensively. Montreal has been outshot 104-64 in its last three games, and only a Carey Price masterpiece Sunday in Calgary prevented all of them from being losses. Montreal is giving up on average a half a goal more than it is scoring, a trend that will undo its strong start if not rectified shortly."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels CSNC and RDS, but fans can also listen in on the radio at WGN, WBUZ, 98,5 FM, and TSN 690.
