Penelope Cruz Mustache in Super Mario Ad Still Looks Sexy [VIDEO]

Why does Penelope Cruz wear a mustache on a Super Mario Nintendo ad alongside her model sister Monica Cruz? Penelope lost a bet to Monica while playing the Super Mario Bros. 2 game and sporting a mustache was part of the penality.

Penelope looks beautiful and fresh in the beginning of the video ad as she lays on a soft lounge chair by a luxurious pool in what looks like a very expensive home. Monica joins her by the pool and the two compete as they play the Nintendo game. The loser is punished with a silly penalty. Penelope loses the game and has to appear in a Super Marion suit with a mustache at the local supermarket.

Nintendo has created games for decades for children, teens and adults, and their strategy to recruit Oscar-winning actress Penelope Cruz does give a sexy image boost to the Nintendo brand.
