It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The New York Islanders battle it out on the ice against the Anaheim Ducks in Week 4 of the regular season on Wednesday, November 5 at 10:30 p.m. EST at the Honda Center in California. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Wednesday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Following the first few opening weeks of the 2014 regular season, the Islanders snag the No. 22 spot in Pierre LeBrun's official NHL power rankings for ESPN.com with a 6-5-0 winning record:
"After a 4-0-0 start, the Isles have dropped five of seven games, including three straight. Last season's issue is back despite new goalies: the Isles are 29th in goals against per game at 3.54. Yikes."
Meanwhile, the Ducks currently hold the impressive No. 1 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 10-3-0 record. According to LeBrun:
"A four-game road trips nets wins in Chicago, Dallas and Colorado, each coming with a different goalie. Make it 11 goals in 13 games to open the season for star winger Corey Perry. Wow."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels FSW and MSG+, but fans can also listen in on the radio at 99.9 The Fan, WRHU, WNIO, and KLAA.
