News about the highly anticipated sequel to Ridley Scott's ambitious 2012 film, Prometheus, has been few and far between, but this week star Noomi Rapace shared some great plot details and more teasers for fans waiting for the movie. Rapace will reprise her role of Elizabeth Shaw in Prometheus 2, but that's all we really know about the project. Luckily, Rapace changed all of that this week!

"I know that Elizabeth Shaw wants to go to paradise. I say that in the first one," she said, according to JoBlo. "I don't wanna go back. She can't go to Earth. There's nothing left for her there really. She wants to go where they come from, those giants, those creatures. In her head that's the dark paradise. What's there? She wants answers. She wants to know. I feel like I'm sharing her curiosity but also her anger."

Fans of the movie know that Shaw was the only survivor of the mission - not including the decapitated android David, played by Michael Fassbender. As of now, she is the star of the sequel, so we should definitely listen to what she's saying!

She added: "I don't know. I don't know where [Ridley Scott's] gonna take us but I can't wait to go there."

What do you think of her new comments (via Slash Film)? Let us know below!

Back in early 2013, Rapace spoke about the effect this movie has on audiences and how some people see different aspects each time they view it.

"It's interesting because people, most people I've talked to who see the movie, see things that are quite different," she told The Playlist (via Slash Film). "Some people who see the movie many times and discover new things. There are all these religious aspects and there are very interesting conversations. And for me, if we do a second one, there are a lot of things to explore in there and to continue. I would love to do it."
