Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi Divorce Buzz Explodes [Again]: 'Scandal' Fight After Cheating Scandal, Marriage 'Not Equal?'

Rumors surrounding Ellen DeGeneres impending divorce from longtime wife Portia de Rossi have been swirling online for MONTHS. But is the beloved talk show host's robust Hollywood "ego" finally tearing the couple apart - for good?

According to the seedy gossip outlet InTouch, DeGeneres and her 41-year-old partner got into a huge fight just last weekend, when the 56-year-old funnywoman took credit for getting de Rossi a starring on the hit drama, "Scandal." The two were en-route to a charity event in Santa Monica when the verbal altercation took place.

An alleged insider reveals:

"Portia was raving about how she never felt more alive... [then] Portia lost it. She was screaming and threatening to jump out of the moving vehicle... Ellen tried to calm her down but nothing worked" (via EntertainmentWise.com).

Apparently, they never made it to the event because of the blowout fight. However, reps insist that the couple didn't plan on attending the party in the first place.

Sounds a bit dramatic, right?

Apparently, the only reason director Shonda Rhimes even hired the Australian beauty was because of DeGeneres' influence in the business. That pushed de Rossi to the edge, who's worked hard for the success that she has now:

"Ellen's made a habit of knocking Portia down when she is feeling good about herself, and she's tired of it. This fight was the last straw for Portia," the rumored snitch explans. "They're back on the brink of divorce."
