The 33-year-old reality star will take Roman home to his new big brothers, Stirling, 5, and Maverick, 3. "We are so grateful to now be a family of five," Lydia told Us. "Baby Roman has captured our hearts and just like that our lives are forever changed."
Lydia joined the cast of the original Housewives series in 2013. She only lasted one season and she she left, she called her departure "bittersweet." At the time, she told Us that she compared it to "breaking up with a boyfriend you know you're not going to end up with - it's hard, but overall you know you're doing the right thing." Lydia was the calmest of any of the housewives, often referring to her prominent religion and faith as her backbone. The only real excitement that she offered the show was that of her pot-smoking mother. Lydia admited that she was never trying to make the Housewives her career since she comes from a well-to-do family and was born into a media empire. Her family owns the largest privately held multi-media company in Canada. "I never wanted to make a career out of being a housewife. That's never really been a dream of mine. I want to build my brand outside of the housewives," she said.
As my third and final pregnancy comes to an end, I am so excited to hold this little soul in my arms but trying to appreciate the last few weeks as a family of 4.... #36weeks #GetOutofMyBelly A photo posted by Lydia McLaughlin (@oclydia) on Oct 10, 2014 at 9:44am PDT
