'Grey's Anatomy' Season 11 Spoilers - Sarah Drew Spills On Tonight's All-New Episode: Plus Meredith's Half-Sister's Coming To Dinner?

Here comes mama!! Tonight's all-new episode of Grey's Anatomy will see the introduction of Sarah Drew's mother played by Connie Ray. While we have seen April Kepner's sisters cause some trouble in the doctor's life on the medical drama, this is the first time that viewers will be getting a taste of what the matriarch of the family is all about.

Drew spoke out to E! News where she explained the dynamic of the mother-daughter relationship, saying viewers are in for a treat.

"[Mama Kepner]'s pretty great! But there's definitely some tension there," the actress told the entertainment site. "April's relationship with her sisters sprung out of her relationship with her mother and they're pretty similar."

She says that Ray will bring out a different side to April, similar to the kind of person she was when she was a teenager.

"What's great about this episode is that it shows what we as adults often do when we're visiting with our parents or our parents come to visit, which is we kind of regress!" Sarah explained. "We show sometimes the worst parts of ourselves and the parts we've grown out of. They just come right back and haunt the people around us."

Also set to take place during this episode is Meredith and her half-sister Maggie continuing to butt heads over their relationship, when Derek invites Maggie over for a family dinner.

When Mer and Derek fight over who's coming to dinner, it quickly turns into a fight about Derek's decision to stay in Seattle when he could have been working in DC. The International Business Times reports that during a sneak peek, Meredith confronts Derek about his decision to invite Maggie over for dinner.

"I have to have dinner with the sister I don't know and the bio dad she hates because you gave up your chance to work for Obama?" Meredith says in the clip. "You're gonna play that card? Of course you are, because you've been playin' that card until the end of frickin' time."
