It's finally that time of year - basketball season!
The New York Knicks battle it out on the court against the Brooklyn Nets in the 2014 opening week on Friday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m. EST at the Barclay's Center in NYC. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the East Coast rival night basketball game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
To kick-off the NBA regular season, the Knicks snag the No. 15 spot in Marc Stein's official NBA power ranking for ESPN.com with a 2-3 winning record:
"The big takeaway after spending a night with the Knicks in Cleveland is that Derek Fisher belongs. Everyone said he was a coaching natural, but he looks even more comfortable and commanding than I expected, which is reflected in the response he's gotten out of this group since the home opener shellacking."
Meanwhile, the Nets currently hold the No. 21 spot (out of 30 total teams), with two wins and two losses. According to Stein:
"Brook Lopez is poised to make his long-awaited return Monday night. And Mikhail Prokhorov is coming to town. Throw in the flashes of bounce-back we've seen from Joe Johnson, Deron Williams and Kevin Garnett and there's almost enough here to get us to gloss over the Boston debacle. Almost."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels YES and MSG, but fans can also listen in on the radio at ESPN 98.7FM and WFAN.
