Being banned from a soccer match is a usual occurrence, especially during a heated match. But it's very surprising when the players state they cannot concentrate because someone is too "beautiful." Katarina Sreckovic, Red Star Belgrade soccer reporter, was nearly axed from her job from being deemed "too attractive."
Yahoo Sports mentions that the stunning 25-year-old reporter was nearly fired by the Red Star Belgrade soccer team. The sports journalist is considered to be a distraction when she starts interviewing the soccer athletes. The reporter, who happens to be fluent in Chinese and studied Literature, considers her hosting gig as a "dream job" and fought to stay on.

Though she is a recurring visitor to the Red Star Stadium, the players had a hard time taking the reporter seriously at her job. The soccer stars would either struggle to answer her questions or just plain stare at her.

Sreckovic admits to The Independent, "It was tough though because for a while it seemed as if they might not be able to work with me at all. I was also asked to go away a couple of times because I was a distraction on the pitch, and players complained that they couldn't concentrate." Though the Red Star won the European Cup back in 1991 but has fallen on hard economical times. The club has been banned from the Champions League because of failing to uphold Uefa's Financial Fair Play regulations and their $70 million debt.
