We have some unfortunate news for fans of the ABC comedy, Selfie, starring Karen Gillan (Doctor Who, Guardians of the Galaxy) and John Cho (Sleepy Hollow, Star Trek Into Darkness). The network hasn't ordered any more episodes from the Tuesday night sitcom, meaning only the rest of the 13 episodes from the original season order are left of the show. It might be a little early to declare this, but multiple reports are suggesting Selfie could be cancelled in 2014.

For those of you unfamiliar with the show, Gillan portrays Eliza Dooley, a 20-something woman that is utterly obsessed with the idea of achieving fame through the use of social media She seeks advisement from image guru Henry Higgs (Cho), and the two start a budding relationship that bridges the gap between millenials and generation x.

Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Allyn Rachel and David Harewood also star(red).

The show has much more substance than the synopsis suggests, though. Cho and Gillan are pretty great together, with very good comedic timing in scenes together or alone. Their chemistry is also very sweet, but ratings are ratings. ABC can't really look at opinions as opposed to on numbers.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "the comedy failed to make waves in the ratings, debuting to a mediocre 5.3 million viewers and a 1.6 rating among adults 18-to-49."
