After making its grand entrance at the New York Comic Con, audiences are very anxious to see the highly anticipated Netflix superhero series. With few teasers have been released about the in the upcoming Marvel's Daredevil series, will audiences see Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) facing off against super villain, Bullseye, and another vigilante, The Punisher?
In the Marvel Universe, Matt Murdock (Cox) was a young boy when he was struck blind after a near fatal car accident. Though everyone thinks he lives in complete darkness, radioactive chemicals gave him back his sight. By day, Murdock is the blind lawyer attending courtroom battles, but by night, Daredevil serves out his own brand of justice protecting Hell's Kitchen from crime.
According to ComingSoon, showrunner Steven S. DeKnight went to his official Twitter account to answer fans' questions. In his series of tweets, DeKnight considers Vincent D'Onofrio's performance as Wilson Fisk to be "breathtaking." The Spartacus head writer goes on to describe the tone of the series, giving the show a "PG-16ish" rating
Though the super villain appeared in the movie version with Ben Affleck and Colin Farrell, this character will not be seen in on Netflix. "No one. RT @cameronstear: Who's going to be playing Bullseye in the Marvel Netflix Daredevil? Please reply or give me a hint Steven?"
When asked if there were any other Marvel heroes he would like the man without fear to meet, the former Buffy the Vampire scribe tweets, "Punisher, Spider-Man, Wilber Day. RT @Marvel_CMU: if you could have any character from the Marvel films in Daredevil, who would it be?"
As reported by Screenrant, Daredevil is supposed be the start of a series of Netflix shows, featuring Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage. Each character would then form The Defenders. How involved will this showrunner be involved? "Too soon to know. RT @soundomyWalther: @stevendeknight Are you involved in Defenders at all?"
