When "Evel Dick" Donato came clean on Couples Therapy earlier last month regarding his HIV positive diagnosis, nobody expected it to gain such media traction, gearing his Big Brother bad guy image into one of charity driven attention. Is this a new start for Evel?
Recently A & U Magazine (America's AIDS Magazine) tweeted their exciting news regarding an exclusive interview with the 51-year-old HIV-positive star.
"Excited to share exclusive pix & interview w/ @EvelDick in Dec issue of @au_magazine"
As Mstars News previously reported, the reality-star has been gaining some positive attention despite his fears of revealing his illness, which was possibly contracted by a Las Vegas stripper.
"The reaction has been overwhelmingly positive," Donato told People. "Absolutely fantastic."
Not only have media publication like A & U reached out to the star, so have struggling victims of the disease.
"Meetin' Sir @EvelDick t' discuss #LIVING n" #DATING with #HIV #AIDS! #SURREAL! @CouplesTherapy5 #NOshame! #ENDaids!" a tweet by OneToughPirate read on November 7.

Evel Dick is the winner of the reality game show Big Brother 8. Dick returned to the show in 2011 for it's 13th season, only to leave during the first week to do a blood test performed by the show's producers, that revealed his illness. Dick kept this a secret until his recent stint on Couples Therapy.
Since his frightening reveal, Dick's image has turned into a positive one, and fans have surrounded him with positivity. His times on reality-tv has turned into constant interviews and AIDS organization cover stories.
This proves that a little honesty can go a long way.
