Arrow Season 3 Spoilers: Photo of Katie Cassidy's Stunt Double Shows New Black Canary Outfit

After the death of Sara earlier in Season 3 of Arrow, her sister, Laurel, has begun training to channel her rage and fire into something constructive. Of course, comic book fans know Laurel Lance eventually becomes the Black Canary, the black leather-clad companion of the Green Arrow.

Fans have had differing opinions on Laurel's training and on the timeline for her becoming the Canary. On the show, Sara had years of training with the League of Assassins, so it would seem a bit of a stretch for Laurel to assume the mantle anytime soon. But a new photo could indicate that the transformation happens sooner rather than later.

Spoiler TV has posted a photo of what it reports is Katie Cassidy's stunt double, who wears a new Black Canary costume. You can see the photo at the top of the page. The costume is far less revealing than the one Caity Lotz wore as Sara, and it also does not contain any black eye shadow with the mask.

Recall that Laurel asked Oliver to train her earlier in the season and the Arrow turned her down. So how will he react when he learns that she took another route to get to her destination? The "Ask Ausiello" column at TVLine has the answer.

'The dynamic has been very adversarial' between the former lovers, Stephen Amell shares. 'What she wants and what he's prepared to reciprocate are at odds with one another, and that carries through the fall.' There's also the fact that he's not thrilled that she's keeping Sara's death hidden from Captain Lance. However, 'it is Laurel's decision, it is not Oliver's,' Amell concedes. 'And he's not gonna step on that. He has the ability to disagree without taking matters into his own hands.'"
