American Idol 2012 Judges: Nick Jonas 'Tough Love' and 'Dry Humor' a Plus Says Jonas Brothers

American Idol 2012 new season judges could be a power team of Nicki Minaj, Nick Jonas, Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson.  Although Nicki Minaj and Nick Jonas have not been confirmed officially, both are in the talks with the producers and have shared possible feedback regarding the possible position.

Nicki Minaj's name popped out of nowhere on Monday August 20, and is already rumored to be signing the deal soon.

Sources told US Weekly that "she is definitely doing it".  

Nick's brothers Joe and Kevin think that he'll make a great judge.

Kevin told MTV News, "I think he would bring insight to it, unlike a lot of people. At his age, he's been able to accomplish so much and be able to do so many kinds of things, whether it was Broadway, whether it was like pop music, whether it was producing for other artists. Like he's done it mostly all, so I think he can have his feet planted on the ground to be a good judge."

Joe who is a mentor on a similar singing competition show "The Next" also praised his brother.

"I do hope Nick gets the 'American Idol' thing.  I think that would be awesome. I feel like he's really talented enough. He's a producer, songwriter and great musician."

The older Jonas brothers revealed that Nick would be blunt and direct, but with love.
