Is another Dancing with the Stars contestant about to kick off his dancing shoes and sit the rest of the competition out? It might seem that way, as dancer and Cheech and Chong star Tommy Chong has been experiencing some pain following a calf injury.

Up until now the star has been a trooper, dancing through not one but two high-energy dances. Chong proved he was a force to be reckoned with the last couple weeks, but could this injury finally get the better of him and force him to sit out the rest of the competition?

According to E! News, the star seemed like he was going to pull through the injury and keep his spot in the reality series last week, as he optimistically explained that a calf injury wasn't going to keep him from dancing.

"It'll heal," the star told the news outlet about his calf injury last week. "It was me, It was dumb. I didn't drink enough water, so I got cramps. I'm a dancer and being around all the dancers, they've got more injuries than you can count. They just wrap on tape, get out there and do it, and I had to do it."

But it looks like his medical condition might be more severe then he originally thought.

The star posted a video to his Instagram account, where he was seen getting an MRI in order to get clearance to perform in tonight's episode.

He captioned the video, "Making sure my leg is ready for the Quarter Finals tomorrow. Thank you for all the support #dwts @dancingabc."

Well, it looks like the MRI proved to show not such great news, as it appears the Cheech and Chong star has a tear in his calf. The star's currently still being examined and we'll soon know whether or not he'll be able to dance during tonight's quarter finals.

Tune in tonight at 8 p.m. to see if Tommy Chong is able to dance.
