Instagram has just introduced a new version of its software, and some of the features included on the update will make fans extremely happy. We have all probably faced the problem where we have typed a caption only to be told by a follower later that there was a misspelling in it. We're then forced with the tough decision of whether or not we should keep the photo or delete it because of the typo.
Well, Instagram has solved this problem once and for all by introducing an edit caption button in its new software update. Fans took to their Twitter accounts to share the good news.
The company announced the improvement on its blog earlier today.
"We've added the ability to go back and edit captions on your posts. When you share a moment to Instagram, a typo shouldn't get in the way," the company wrote on its blog. "This has been one of the top requests that we've heard from the community, and we're excited to finally bring it to you today. You'll find a new 'Edit' option in the menu beneath your image. Tap it to edit your caption."
We'll never have to delete a post just to edit the caption again. The site also took to its own Instagram page to comment on the new feature.
