Say what!?
The reality-star's mobile game, "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood" has made a ridiculous sum of money in the past three months since it's launch in June.
The company (Glue Mobiles) disclosed in its third-quarter earning report that the app has made $43 million! Kardashian's app makes more money then all of Glu Mobiles apps combined. If their predictions are correct, the app will earn around $200 million by the end of the year.
"It's just a fun little game. It's kind of like when people get into Candy Crush so much...it's just something fun to do," the Keeping up with the Kardashian's star told Matt Lauer on the Today show back in August.
In case you are unfamiliar with the app, buyers of the game can join Kim on a red carpet adventure, creating your own aspiring celebrity and rise to fame and fortune.
As Variety reports, the game has been installed nearly 23 million times since its June release, been played a total of 5.7 billion minutes and as we already know grossed $43.4 million in it's third quarter.
"We identified Kim Kardashian-West as arguably the best brand fit in the world and we approached her," CEO Niccolo de Masi explains. "Everyone quickly recognized the tremendous business opportunity."
The mother of North West even has her Instagram's main photo as her mobile character, helping to boost buys.
"It might be our biggest game of the year," Masi said in an interview with Bloomberg. "We're not surprised. Kim is a one-of-a-kind talent with an incredibly précises fit to the game engine that we tailored but already had in the company."
