Nicki Minaj, Safaree Samuels Break Up Update: Hype Man Wants To Be A Model After 'Bed Of Lies' Diss

Did Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels ask an "America's Next Top Model" contestant for modeling advice?

According to Hiphollywood.com, one source claims the former hype-man who is currently recovering from major backlash after Nicki's EMA "Bed of Lies" performance is trying to find a new profession.

 "People are always asking me for modeling advice," The source said, "You know, Safaree, Nicki Minaj's ex? He came to me for some advice on modeling, but I mean, he's just not a model. Like, I told him being honest, 'Dude, you're not a model.'" He continued, "You have to have a certain look and some people just don't have it."

During the rapper's epic "Bed of Lies" performance, the celebrity slammed her ex for using her for his own agenda.

She rapped:

"You could never make eye contact / Everything you got was based off of my contacts / You a fraud, but I'mma remain icon-stat / Balenciaga's on my boots with the python strap / You was caught up in the rush, and you was caught up in the thrill of it / You was with me way before I hit a quarter mil' in it / Put you in the crib and you ain't never pay a bill in it / I was killin' it, man you got me poppin' pills in it / I told Baby hit you, I said this dude buggin' Cause I was doing it for us / I told em fuck the public / Couldn't believe that I was home alone contemplating overdosin' / all the postin', no more toastin' over oceans / They say you don't know what you got 'til it's gone / They say that your darkest hour comes before your dawn / but there was something I should've asked all along."

According to TMZ, Safaree and the "Anaconda" rapper have been arguing over Safaree's jealously over her success and allegedly doesn't want to remain in the background as she continues to be the breadwinner.

The couple have been together for 14-years romantically and professionally and now their relationship may be in shambles after he ditched her concert, leaving her to find a last minute hype-man.

In March, the rapper's rumored boyfriend got Minaj's name with stars around it tattooed on his chest to complement her face tattoo across from it.

The hype man had as many as three tattoos dedicated to Minaj on his body and notably his second tattoo of the 31-year-old's face.

Recently, the couple's troubled relationship made news after photos of his tattoos of Nicki on his chest appeared covered with new art work.
