The life of an actor is harder than we could've ever pictured!

"I mean, that's what the job requires. That's what you're supposed to do and I welcome those things with open arms. And I usually get a little obsessive," he told People.

He told Men's Fitness in an interview that to loose weight for his roles in movies like The Fighter he focused mostly on cardio, playing 5:30 a.m. basketball games.

"My goal really was to get a pound thinner that I got in Boogie Nights, which was at 25 so it was a lot easier then than doing it at 42," adding "I was more focused on understanding the words that I had to speak in the classroom. Being able to believe in myself going out there and saying those words and feeling confident."

Mark's mom's favorite movie of his is "Boogie Nights" (1997). What's yours?
