Seems Ginuwine isn't Gin-u-fine anymore. In fact he's probably "so anxious" to clear his name after rumors of divorce, bankruptcy, and more flooded the Internet this week. According to Vibe, the singer is moving towards filing for bankruptcy.
The R&B singer’s lawyer claims that the once hit-maker is “very close to declaring bankruptcy.”
The news has surfaced after the TGT singer was caught in a legal battle with Robert Reives, executive producer of Ginuwine's debut album, The Bachelor.
Reives reveals that the singer owes him his royalties that is a part of Ginuwine's $1.25 million five-album deal. The producer is asking for $250,000, while Ginuwine is giving him "access denied."
The drama was unfolded during court earlier this week in NYC as Ginuwine's lawyer, Bruce Beckner claims his money issues stated with his estranged wife, Solé.
“He owes my firm a ton of money and a bunch of other people a ton of money,” Beckner explained. “He owes Uncle Sam $300-odd thousand dollars in back income taxes.”
Ginuwine claims that he and the rapper are separated, not divorced.
"I need to address yesterday's rumor because it is not totally accurate and I don't want my wife being made out to be the bad guy here."
He adds, “We are NOT yet divorced, but we ARE currently separated and working towards coming to our own agreement, without lawyers, to amicably and fairly divorce,” Ginuwine captioned the photo below, via Instagram. "Reports that she left me 'broke' are untrue. She has been a good wife and mother and my poor choices and actions over many years have lead to this. I am on a path of becoming a better man and part of that is taking responsibility for my own choices and behavior in life."

Meanwhile, TV shows everywhere, including The Wendy Williams Show had a lot to talk about regarding the singer's current situation.
"So that R&B singer from back in the day, Ginuwine, he's getting a divorce from his former rapper wife, Solé." Wendy says that "a lot of the media is taking the blame out on her, his money." She continues, "Earlier this week the rumors were swirling that she's taking his money, left him for broke."
She than read the comments that we stated above. "You could only image what his poor choices were, you know," Wendy says, adding, "Late night partying, groupies..."
Wendy also mentioned Ginuwine's two kids that he has with the rapper. But she also threw some shade adding that Ginuwine, "has three other children outside the marriage with three baby mothers."
But she cleans up her words by saying, "I think he's right by saying his statement." She claims, "He was Chris Brown, before Chris Brown was a thought."
Williams calls the sexy singer, "double jointed." She explains, "Names are everything. He's so sexy here, but his name is Elgin Baylor Lumpkin, sexiest name on the face of the earth."
