The Washington Capitals finally had a win against the Blackhawks Nov. 7. This was the team's first win in two games.
Swedish hockey star Marcus Johansson said, "There's not much you can complain about." He added, "I think we're creating a lot of chances and having a big body like Brouwer, he can score goals and make plays as well. We've got a really good line going."
Meanwhile, Blackhawks defenseman Johnny Oduya suffered a lower-body injury during the third period of the Tampa Bay Lightning game.
"Oduya was struck in the right leg by a puck off a Lightning shot at 9:09 of the period. Oduya was slow to get up and only got off the ice when the Lightning scored at 9:53. He did not return to the game," ESPN reported.
Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville was not quite sure of the severity of the injuries.
"We'll know more [Wednesday]," Quenneville shared with press. "We'll see. Hopefully, he'll be all right."
Oduya broke his right foot last season in Game 7 of the Western Conference finals when his team took on the Los Angeles Kings.
