‘Cake Boss’ Buddy Valastro Arrested For Drunk Driving In NYC: 'Carlo's Bakery' TLC Star Intoxicated, Charged With DWI [VIDEO]

It looks like Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro was not able to bribe New York City officers with one of his delicious desserts in order to get out of this! It's being reported that the TLC star was arrested earlier this morning, around 1 a.m. EST, in New York City for driving drunk. NYPD officers stopped Valastro and charged him with a DWI.

TMZ reports that law enforcement was notified that Valastro's 2014 yellow Corvette (yep, he really has one of those) was seen "weaving" throughout 10th Ave in NYC near 20th Street. The cops saw, pulled him over and reportedly "smelled a strong odor of alcohol" –– and probably some powdered sugar, too. Just saying.

The gossip site notes that when cops checked to see how intoxicated the television star was, he "blew well above the legal limit." Bail will be set sometime this morning.

Cake Boss is, of course, a reality show on TLC based on Valastro's Hoboken bakery Carlo's Bakery, which is owned by him and several members of his Italian-American family. The group specializes in all types of pastries and desserts, but is specifically known for making some of the most intricate cakes around.
