'Avengers: Rage Of Ultron' OGN: Rick Remender, Jerome Opeña, Dean White Present Marvel Comics' Cover!

Marvel Comics  is putting together the star-studded creative team of writers Rick Remender (Avengers & X-Men: AXIS), artists Jerome Opeña (Uncanny X-Force) and Dean White (Uncanny X-Force) are going to take Earth's Mightiest Heroes to the brink and beyond. In the original graphic novel, Avengers: Rage of Ultron OGN, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and Ant-Man assemble to take down their unstoppable enemy, Ultron. 

In the narrative, Ultron all of a sudden has complete control over the central computer core at Saturn's moon, Titan. The Avengers are the only ones who stand in the way of Earth's annihilation at the bloody hands of Planet Ultron. Only Ultron's creator, Hank Pym holds the key to defeating Ultron, but there will be a price to pay.  

In an interview with Marvel, Remender dives into the plot, "This cover holds a ton of secrets. There are Avengers from two different eras, and the story takes place in both of those eras. This is some of Jerome and Dean's best work and the story promises to be nothing short of Earth shattering for the Avengers."

As we previously mentioned, we're excited to see the maniacal super villain make his big screen introduction. Voiced by James Spader (The Blacklist), the superhuman robot is quite scary when he states, "There are no strings on me." Ultron will also be taking on the Marvel Zombies in an upcoming title from the Secret Wars summer launch. 

Take a look at the wonderfully rendered illustrations by Opeña & White. Not only does this mark  Marvel's all new OGN line, these superheroes will be brought to life in a high-end, oversized format.

We also reported that Scott Lang, the astonishing Ant-Man, will be getting his own ongoing series in January 2015, penned by writer Nick Spencer and illustrated by artist Ramon Rosanas. It's the prefect introduction for newcomers before the big screen adaptation with Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas.
