Justin Bieber to Cameo on 'The Simpsons' as Bart's Talent Show Nemesis

Looks like pop star Justin Bieber is ready to put his acting skills back to work, this time in the animated world of Springfield. The "Believe" star is set to make a cameo in the upcoming season of "The Simpsons" where he will star as himself.

In a Twitter post which has since been deleted, Biebs wrote:

@justinbieber: "Just did a voice over for the SIMPSONS!!! #swaggy."

"The Simpsons" executive producer Al Jean has confirmed Bieber's one-episode appearance, which will air sometime in early 2013 as part of "The Simpsons'" 24^th season.

In the episode, Jean claims Bieber's character "tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won't admit him." He hintingly adds, "Draw your own conclusions." The episode is slated to be titled "The Fabulous Faker Boy."

The new season of "The Simpsons" airs on FOX Sept. 30. Other guest appearances in the upcoming season will include Zooey Deschanel, Edward Norton, Steve Carrell, Anne Hathaway, and Natalie Portman.
