The Ohio State University Buckeyes had hoped their college football team would have a good season led by Braxton Miller. When he went down and was ruled out for the season, their fans gave up hope, but along came the untried J.T. Barrett. J.T. has been more than impressive, and in today's game he broke three of Miller's records.
A huge QB feud and rivalry has developed, with fans now preferring Barrett, but some wanting the return of Miller. Of course, Miller did nothing wrong, so should he lose his starting job next season? On top of that, the new QB on the block has thrown himself in to Heisman Trophy contention. The Buckeyes might just have two of the best, but which is the better quarterback?
Coach Urban Meyer had plenty to say, according to ESPN, but which QB does he prefer?
He gave nothing away, saying, "I challenge any team in the country that wants to go ahead and schedule this one in November, whatever it is against a very good team. Have at it."
After his 200-yard passing game, according to Yahoo! Sports, it's safe to say Barrett stole the show, and Meyer continued, "I had no idea that this is who J.T. Barrett is. Very clear picture of who he is now."
But does this mean that Urban is clear on who the starting QB should be in the future?
It's likely the OSU Buckeyes will have a QB battle next year, with the nation's attention locked on the two of them, but if Barrett somehow wins the Heisman trophy, could they really recall Braxton?
