As they say, there ain't no party like an S Club party... and the S Club 7 party was kicked back into gear over the weekend when the '90s pop superstars reunited for the first time in almost a decade for a British charity and delivered a medley of some of the most beloved hits. But that wasn't all, as today the group announced huge plans for 2015... even as their charity performance was criticized.
The seven pop stars - Rachel Stevens, Jo O'Meara, Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Bradley McIntosh, Jon Lee and Hannah Spearitt - appeared together for the first time as a live group in a decade for the annual BBC Children in Need charity, which this year raised over £32 million (USD $50 million).
The group also announced a huge UK tour for 2015, with Cattermole saying "I miss working with these guys so much. It's great to be together again, not just working together, but just hanging out and sharing the stage together," reports The Daily Telegraph.
With supremely catchy singles like "Don't Stop Movin'", "S Club Party", "Reach" and "Bring It All Back", the Simon Fuller-managed S Club 7 dominated the late '90s and into the early '00s, racking up four UK No. 1 singles, hitting the US Top 10 and selling over 10 million albums. Cattermole left in 2002, though, and the group slowly fell apart until breaking up for good in 2003, before sporadic appearances from 2008 as S Club 3, S Club Party and S Club 4.
The BBC Children in Need performance vaulted S Club 7's 'Best Of' compilation from over a decade ago into the Top 10 of the British music charts, but also brought up questions of whether the older version of S Club 7 were up to the challenge of performing live.
Is Jo O'Meara okay? She doesn't sound okay?

They still had one celebrity fan in pop royalty and sometime Taylor Swift-squeeze Ed Sheeran, who tweeted out

O'Meara claimed at the press conference announcing the act's 2015 tour that her shakey performance was 'due to nerves', says The Mail Online.
The reunion comes after stars O'Meara and Cattermole reportedly filed for bankruptcy earlier this year, after the pair had tried to keep the S Club dream a live as part of S Club 3 and then as S Club 4. There's no word on US dates for the reunited pop group, but considering how excited everyone sounds, it wouldn't be surprising if it were on the cards.
