Britney Spears Cold Feet Rumors Untrue, Intimate Wedding with Jason Trawick Still On

Despite recent rumors that pop star Britney Spears is experiencing cold feet, a source close to the "Toxic" singer insists that her relationship with manager Jason Trawick is as strong as ever, and the two can't wait to eventually tie the knot in what Spears hopes to be a small, private ceremony.

"Everything is absolutely fine between them. The wedding is not off," Spears' inside source tells E! News. "They are as blissfully happy as ever but they want to get 'The X-Factor' out of the way before they even start planning a wedding."

Rumors that Spears and Trawick's relationship was on the rocks began to brew when the "Baby One More Time" songstress was recently spotted outside court, her engagement ring nowhere in sight. But according to E!'s source, Spears took the bling off and gave it to Trawick to hold during an Elizabeth Arden photo shoot - he simply forgot to give it back to her afterwards.

"Britney is not having cold feet, Jason isn't either, everything is on track," the source reiterates. "They are happy and excited about the coming months and being able to do more and more for 'X-Factor.' Jason is with Britney every step of the way with the show and they are enjoying the experience immensely."

Although the couple has been engaged since December, they don't plan on marrying until after Spears' stint on "The X-Factor" wraps up (the second season of the reality television talent show premieres Sept. 12 on FOX).

Because Spears has been married twice before (to childhood friend Jason Alexander and then to dancer Kevin Federline), the former "Mickey Mouse Club" star wants this ceremony to be small and intimate with just close family and friends. Although this will be her third marriage, Spears considers her upcoming nuptial to Trawick as her "real wedding."

According to one source, "It'll be small and intimate with family and friends, and will be about [Spears] and Jason. They're already such a loving family."

The source claims Spears is looking forward to the wedding and can't wait to become Jason's wife.
