Following the first few opening weeks of the 2014 regular season, the Predators snag the impressive No. 5 spot in Pierre LeBrun's official NHL power ranking for ESPN.com with an 11-4-2 record:
"The Preds are ranked first overall in five-on-five goals for/against ratio, at 1.74. That's always a great measure of how a team is playing."
Meanwhile, the Maple Leafs currently hold the No. 19 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 9-7-2 record. According to LeBrun:
"That 6-1-1 stretch is a distant memory after weekend losses to the Penguins and Sabres. It's bad enough losing to the Sabres, but 6-2? Mercy."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels FSTN and TSN4, but fans can also listen in on the radio at WBUZ, WNSR, CHML, and AM 640.
