Although rapper Lil Wayne is an avid supporter of the up-and-coming rapper 2 Chainz (Tauheed Epps), the "How to Love" singer didn't seem all too pleased in a recent MTV News interview, where he insists his vocals on Two Chainz's opening track "Yuck" are "wack" and that he wasn't even aware they would be featured on the album.
Lil Wayne made a big move when he decided to delay the release of his upcoming mixtape "Dedication 3" in order to let 2 Chainz's debut album "Based on a T.R.U. Story" take some time to shine (both were scheduled to be released the same week). Whether or not Lil Wayne's actions had anything to do with 2 Chainz's album being no. 1 in the country last week, the "Lollipop" star still showed his "Tity Boi" (Wayne's nickname for Epp) some love, telling MTV, "I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart, dawg."
But in the same interview, Wayne made it apparent that he wasn't too happy with his vocals on the "Based on a T.R.U. Story" opening track, "Yuck." Wayne stated, "I'm very upset about that just to let everybody know: He put me on that, I sound wack as hell on there. He did not tell me that was gonna be the first song on his album...Please don't judge me from that - my bar game is way higher than that, man."
