NeNe Leakes To Kenya Moore: 'I'll Make My Donation When I Get Ready' — 'RHOA' Star Not Writing Donation Check Until She Investigates Moore [WATCH]

NeNe Leakes is making it clear that she does not make moves until she is ready, and that includes matching Kenya Moore's $20K donation to the Detroit Public Schools.

According to Sister 2 Sister, Leakes told TMZ, “I’ll make my donation when I get ready to make it. She made hers when she got ready."

MStars News previously reported that the RHOA star was challenged by Moore to make a $20,000 donation to a charity of her choice, and Leakes claimed that she would participate.

Kenya has already comitted to her side of the deal, and fans are waiting to see if Leakes will do the same.

As the subject was brought up again, Leakes explained to the TMZ cameras.

“Did I say I wasn’t going to pay the Detroit Schools? Did you hear me say that?” she said. “No one heard me say that ... There was no time where you heard me say I wasn’t going to make a donation.”

Leakes says she has to do some digging before she writes a check.

“We need to make sure Kenya made a payment first of all, because she tweeted a picture." Leakes added, "How do we know the check cleared?" She also says, “We also need to make sure they are a charity ... and we made to make sure they are active ... You have to make sure they’re credible.”

“What I know is there’s a bunch of lies out there and I’ll pay when I get ready just as she did,” Leakes claims.
