Cinemax's action packed sexy crime thriller Banshee returns on January 9, 2015 and this week we were treated to some great new photos and a season 3 trailer to preview the new episodes. Antony Starr returns as Sheriff Hood for another exciting 10-episode season, sure to please fans looking for action and intrigue. What kind of adventures will we get to see this time around? This upcoming season has a pretty incredible tagline, which we can take as a teaser for the new episodes: No law. No mercy. No remorse.

"This season is almost like Banshee on steroids," Starr told The Wrap at Comic-Con earlier this year. "It feels like an explosion. I keep getting into fight scenes and coming out with broken bits and injuries."

That's a pretty powerful promise for the new season, and from the looks of the new images from Cinemax, we can expect some drama as well as a returning menace. That's right, Chayton (Geno Segers) is back!

We should also expect some romance, sexual tension and more drama with Carrie (Ivana Milicevic) and Hood still managing their relationship.
