Billy Corgan's involvement with Resistance Pro Wrestling has been pretty interesting to watch over the last few years, but according to his Twitter account he's calling it quits in regards to the sport. Just ahead of a newly announced musical theater project and the upcoming 2014 Smashing Pumpkins album release, Corgan has left the pro wrestling company that he helped build up to where it is today.

And though this is by no means a way to reach them, I'd like to thank the talented wrestlers, managers, and valets I've worked with — Billy Corgan (@Billy) November 15, 2014
Corgan was set to star in a reality show based on the wrestling organization, but we assume those plans have been cancelled.
As we mentioned before, this news comes at a busy time for Corgan, making us think he had a little too much on his plate. A new Smashing Pumpkins album is on the way and Corgan is also working on a musical entitled The 48-Hour Musicals: Encore. A press release recently shared information on this project, with Corgan stating: "My interest in musical theatre has grown throughout the years. [Music Theatre Company founding Artistic Director] Ms. [Jessica Beth] Redish, I believe, is a visionary; she's inspired me to jump into the narrative form in a fresh way."
