Phaedra Parks is back in action, and trying to get over raising her two sons, Ayden and Dylan alone for at least 8 years. MStars News has been keeping fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta stars updated with Parks, and her estranged husband, Apollo Nida's relationship, as their marriage crumbles due to Nida's fraud drama.
Nida is already serving his time behind bars as Parks is back in Atlanta trying to stay positive. One way Parks is staying above water is announcing that she plans to host a great event titled, "Save Our Sons."
This is such a touching title for a mom of two boys that has an incarcerated father. The event is set to take place in Atlanta and features four panelists: TV star and judge Greg Mathis, Dr. E. Dewey Smith, Jeff Johnson and David Johns.
Parks is hosting alongside KD Bowe, who is also part of the panelist.
According to the description, the event is geared towards empowering young men in the community. It will, "highlight the importance of supporting and encouraging African-American boys and men, offer resources to African-American males, celebrate the work of organizations engaged in programs that support the cause and inspire and motivate members of the community."
"African-American boys and men, particularly ones who have grown up fatherless and without positive male role models, are often in need of guidance, information and resources to be successful in life," the statement adds. "It is important for individuals, businesses and local organizations to support the needs of African-American males who want to better their lives and become productive and positive members of their communities."
Phaedra captions the event: "This Saturday Nov 22 @10am Save Our Sons (S.O.S) Male Rally & luncheon. Limited seating to attend please send an email answering the QUESTION-Why you would like to attend or How can this event help you? include your age & phone number. FREE phaedraSOS@gmail.com"
