As Apollo Nida sits behind bars, he has started to reflect on the pain he has caused a lot of people, including his family. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star and husband to Phaedra Parks is serving 8 years for fraud and identity theft, and is finally sharing his thought's as he serves his time.
"I'm not the best husband ... I know I let a lot of people down," Nida said to In Touch, (out on stands this Friday). "But I can say that Phaedra is the best wife and mom and that my children are in good hands with her."
Apollo also has faith about what his future will hold for him and his family. He says, "I'm hopeful that we can stick things out." Parks, however, may have a different idea: her rep tells the magazine that "the divorce is proceeding as planned."
MStars News previously revealed that Parks was gearing up to file for divorce last month.
Nida, who is serving his time at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky says, "There are all walks of life here, I keep to myself." He adds, "When I get out, it's pedal to the metal. I want to be a motivational speaker and stay on the right side of the law."
Nida also has a positive outlook when it comes to his two sons, Ayden and Dylan, and their relationship. "There's a plan to get them up here [to visit me]," he says. "At this point, I don't care about anything else except getting my life back on track. I know for a fact that when I get home, I will pick up the pieces."
MStars News wants to know do you feel like there is hope for Nida when he gets out of prison?
