It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Tampa Bay Lightning battle it out on the ice against the Toronto Maple Leafs in Week 6 of the regular season on Thursday, November 20 at 7:30 p.m. EST at the Air Canada Centre in Ontario. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Thursday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Following the first few opening weeks of the 2014 regular season, the Lightning snag the impressive No. 4 spot in Pierre LeBrun's official NHL power rankings for ESPN.com with an 13-5-2 winning record:
"How deep are the Lightning at forward? Deep enough to make rookie Jonathan Drouin a healthy scratch, that's how deep."
Meanwhile, the Islanders currently hold the No. 19 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 9-8-2 record. As LeBrun points out:
"That 6-1-1 stretch is a distant memory after weekend losses to the Penguins and Sabres. It's bad enough losing to the Sabres, but 6-2? Mercy."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels TSN4 and SunS, but fans can also listen in on the radio at 620 WDAE, WGN, CHML, and AM 640.
