The New York Islanders battle it out on the ice against the Pittsburgh Penguins in Week 6 of the NHL regular season on Friday, November 21 at 7:00 p.m. EST at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pennslyvania. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Friday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Heading into the first few weeks of the 2014 regular season, the Penguins snag the impressive No. 2 spot in Pierre LeBrun's official power rankings for ESPN.com with a 12-3-1 record:
"The Pens had a nifty weekend, with wins over the Leafs and Rangers. They have a chance to reclaim top spot in the Power Rankings with a win Tuesday night in Montreal in what is shaping up to be the most compelling game of the week."
Meanwhile, the Islanders currently hold the No. 9 spot (out of 30 total teams) with an 11-6-0 record. According to LeBrun:
"How about Johnny Boychuk since arriving in Long Island from the Bruins just before the season? Try 12 points (2-10) in 16 games."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels ROOT and MSG+, but fans can also listen in on the radio at 99.9 The Fan, WRHU, 105.9 The X, and WNIO.
