The longtime fan-favorite lip sync battle series from Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show and Late Night NBC series is now being turned into an actual television show for Spike TV! And best of all, Fallon will create it alongside The Office star John Krasinski and Office creator/executive producer Stephen Merchant.

Deadline reports that the series will be a half-hour show that will not only be created by the trio, but will also hold several appearances from them as well. Fallon reportedly made the announcement of the series during last night's episode of the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon when Merchant stopped by to promote the upcoming Hello Ladies film –– one to wrap up the unfortunately canceled HBO series of the same name.

According to reports, each episode of the series will consist of celebrities going head-to-head –– much like it is on the comedian's NBC program. They will pick a song of their choosing and continue to battle it out "for bragging rights."

Lip Sync Battle will reportedly begin taping this Jan. 2015 and will then premiere on Spike TV on April 2. Word has it that talent as well as the host of the show will be mentioned in the forthcoming weeks. For now, we'll have to use our imagination to figure out what the series would be. Luckily, Fallon has already provided us with some video...

Executive Producers of the series will sit in Rick Schwartz, Jay Peterson and Casey Patterson with Emmy winner Beth McCarthy directing. Of the series, Patterson recently said, "Lip Sync Battle is one of the coolest things happening in pop culture right now and already has a huge fan base thanks to the amazing talent involved."

So, who else is excited for Lip Sync Battle??
