'Hateful 8' Movie News: Behind-The-Scenes Cast Photos - Samuel L. Jackson Posts First Look At Quentin Tarantino's Western Film On Twitter With Bruce Dern, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth & More!

Earlier this year, the script for Quentin Tarantino's next movie, The Hateful Eight, was leaked and posted online, resulting in the director deciding to cancel the project. Luckily for us, he changed his mind and just earlier this month announced the official cast list for the 2015 Western. This week, one cast member and long-time Tarantino collaborator, Samuel L. Jackson, posted the first behind-the-scenes cast photos on his Twitter account - but this time Quentin wasn't mad about the leak! (SPOILERS to follow)

As we previously reported, besides Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, Channing Tatum and Demian Bichir also make up this star-studded cast. In these new photos posted to the social media website, we see a handful of these stars speaking with Tarantino in what looks like a read through.

According to Deadline, the plot to this new movie is as follows:

A stagecoach hurtles through the wintry Wyoming landscape. The passengers, bounty hunter John Ruth (Russell) and his fugitive Daisy Domergue (Leigh), race towards the town of Red Rock where Ruth, known in these parts as "The Hangman," will bring Domergue to justice. Along the road, they encounter two strangers: Major Marquis Warren (Jackson), a former Union soldier-turned-infamous bounty hunter, and Chris Mannix (Goggins), a Southern renegade who claims to be the town's new sheriff. Losing their lead on the blizzard, Ruth, Domergue, Warren and Mannix seek refuge at Minnie's Haberdashery, a stagecoach stopover on a mountain pass. When they arrive at Minnie's, they are greeted not by the proprietor but by four unfamiliar faces: Bob (Bichir), who's taking care of Minnie's while she's visiting her mother, is holed up with Oswaldo Mobray (Roth), the hangman of Red Rock, cow-puncher Joe Gage (Madsen), and Confederate Gen. Sanford Smithers (Dern). As the storm overtakes the mountainside stopover, the eight travelers come to learn they may not make it to Red Rock after all.
