Jose Canseco 'Dumped' After Death Threat: Model Leila Knight Deems Ex-Fiance 'A$$hole' Amid 911 Call & 'Killer' Break-Up Fight, Demands Polygraph Test On Twitter

Apparently, controversial MLB superstar Jose Canseco is single yet again.

The infamous gossip webloid TMZ reports that just over the weekend, Canseco got into a heated argument with fiancee, Leila Knight. Things got so hostile, Knight ultimately called the police, insisting that Canseco threatened to kill her.

Around 11:45 PM on Saturday (November 22), Knight dialed-in a domestic abuse incident. She allegedly told authorities that the former reality star "threatened to kill me and my mother... like 20 times."

No arrests were made once cops arrived. However, both lovers were issued an official warning.

Knight claims that she finally dumped 50-year-old Canseco, because quite frankly he's an "a$$hole." She rants to TMZ, "I broke up with Jose and am leaving him for good." He rumoredly "mistreated" her throughout the relationship, and she wants out for good. She recent tweeted:

@ModelLeila: "So happy to be single again. Took me a long time to use my brain instead of my heart."

@ModelLeila: "My ex just threatened to kill me and my mom over and over and over and the cops came over. Can't wait to hear all the lies on his end."

Meanwhile Canseco released this statement on the popular social networking site:

"Leila and I have gone our separate ways. check back later and find out what happened."

He promises that he never threatened Knight's life - she's just made because he actually dumped HER. Now, she's out to seek bitter revenge:

"She's slandering me because I don't want to be with her," Canseco explains. "I fell out of love with her because she's too controlling."

He's open to taking a polygraph test to prove his innocence. Oh, the drama!

FYI - this is NOT the first time Canseco "attacked" a woman (verbally or physically). Back in 1992, he was charged with aggravated battery for crashing into the BMW of then-wife, Esther. Then in November 1997, he was arrested for hitting another ex-wife, Jessica (Sekely).
