5 Seconds of Summer Instagram [VIDEO] Post Thanks Fans For AMA Best New Artist Win Following “What I Like About You” Performance [WATCH]

Last night sure was a great one for Australian pop punk band 5 Seconds of Summer. Not only for their American Music Award win for Best New Artist of the Year but also for their rocking rendition of The Romantic's "What I Like About You." After the killer performance, the band took to their Instagram page to thank the fans for making it happen.

With the video, the band captioned, "YOU GUYS DID IT!!!" in order to thank their fans. And from the looks of it, it seems they are WAY excited about the win. Not that we blame them, of course. In the video we can see the group saying "We just won an AMA for Best New Artist!" And how do they celebrate? Naturally... by screaming.

Before taking to the stage for their win and their "What I Like About You" cover, the teen and tween favorites walked the red carpet and did an interview in front of a very, very large group of screaming fans. Take a look at the interview here, and try your best to listen above the yells.
