It's not often that Hayden Panettiere would worry about her fiancé, Wladimir Klitschko, but could she be worried that the dad-to-be will be targeted by friend Anthony Joshua? The Nashville star is pregnant, and hoping Wlad decides to give up boxing for good. However, he appears ready to fight on, despite hinting that Joshua could replace him on the heavyweight scene. Although Wlad doesn't expect to fight him, Joshua is working his way up the rankings rapidly, so, could the pair square off? The winner between Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora is tipped to fight Wlad, with the loser fighting A.J., and then the winners of those match-ups could face off, but would Joshua be willing to fight his friend?
Joshua knows he must get through the top British fighters first. He explained, "Tyson should concentrate on his fight on Nov. 29 and Price should concentrate on his fight on Dec. 6. They should concentrate on getting titles so they have something to lose by the time I'm at their heels. As for me it's one step at a time, this is my tenth fight. You can never look past anyone, especially at heavyweight. I've watched videos of some of his fights, he's experienced and he was a contender. He's mixed it at a high level with the likes of Kubrat Pulev who fought Wladimir Klitschko the other night."
First up is likely to be Kevin Johnson, and if he beats him, he's a huge domestic fight or two away from world title contention. The question is, will Hayden convince Wlad to retire before Joshua gets the chance to turn on his close friend?
Joshua is tearing the heavyweight division apart, and when Wlad takes up full-time Dad duties, then the boxing world's in trouble, as nobody looks like stopping the developing prospect that is A.J.
