'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Teresa Giudice Prison Sentence Delay: 'RHONJ' Star Still Trying To Get Out Of Jail Time

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has to report for her prison sentence in less than two months, but the star of the Bravo series is trying everything in her power to delay the start of her jail time. The RHONJ star is even using her husband Joe Giudice's alcohol problem as an excuse as to why she doesn't want to report to the facility right away.

According to Radar Online, Teresa's hoping she can talk Joe into going to rehab as a way for her to put off going to prison on her Jan. 5 surrender date.

Teresa wants "Joe to go to rehab first," the insider told the news site. "Teresa's lawyers would then ask the judge to delay the surrender date because there wouldn't be a parent in the house to take care of their four daughters."

Well, it seems Teresa's stunt is reportedly making Joe extremely angry with her, as he feels like she's just putting off something that needs to happen.

"Going to rehab early and postponing Teresa's prison sentence would only delay the inevitable, and he doesn't see the point in dragging this on anymore," the source explained of the situation.

Joe's drinking habits have been a hot topic ever since the stars were sentenced to jail. In an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Joe revealed that he can "easily drink two, three, four bottles of wine a night."

When Cohen asked if the star had an alcohol problem, Joe revealed, "I might have a little problem, yeah, I'm not gonna lie."

Joe also revealed in his court documents that while he and his wife were going through their trial, he was hoping he would spend his time in a rehabilitation facility rather than in prison.
