With the unfortunate protests occurring in Ferguson, Missouri right now due to the no indictment ruling on the murder of unarmed black teen Michael Brown, it seems things are only getting more dangerous –– not only for residents, protestors and law enforcement, but also for the ones reporting on the news. Sara Sidner of CNN was recently reporting on the riots and was hit in the head by part of a bottle in the middle. Shockingly enough, she didn't even miss a beat.
In the below video, brought to us by TMZ, Sidner can be heard reporting about the event just outside a burning building. "You can hear the explosions going on inside there from whatever is inside," she says, "whether it's..."
And then comes the bottle, which was originally thought to be a rock. Check out the video below:
In the end, she was okay, but let's be honest, that had to hurt. You can hear it hitting her in the head.
Pain aside, the woman IS a professional. "Sorry, I just got hit by a rock," she says just before going back into her report. And, no expletives. Impressive, isn't it? Thankfully the cameraman chimed in asking if his reporter was okay. To which she noted, "I'm okay. I'm okay. I've been hit with much worse in my day."
Sidner has been tweeting about the Ferguson happenings since having starting. Check out some of the reporter's feed below:

All I have is a bump on my head. Turns out it was a bottle thrown from a car. Thanks for your kindness. I'm fine. But #Ferguson is not.
