The legendary model, designer and restaurateur Barbara Smith, 64, (AKA B. Smith) has been found at a Manhattan diner after her husband and business partner Dan Gasby reported her missing Tuesday evening (November 25).

ABC Eyewitness News reported her not missing today. However, after Gasby said that Smith didn't return home to their Sag Harbor home last night after taking a jitney from New York City to Sag Harbor the panic set in.

The news outlet reports that Smith — who sufferers from Alzheimer's disease — got back on the jitney and returned to New York City, the authorities were given her whereabouts when she was spotted at the Manhattan diner.

The former model was found by her daughter at the La Parisienne Coffee House on 7th Avenue and 57th Street in Manhattan.

Smith was the first black model to be on the cover of the women's magazine Mademoiselle in the '70s. She later went on to open her first restaurant in the late '80s which are located on Restaurant Row in New York as well as the village of Sag Harbor on Long Island.

Smith's interior designs have been featured in Bed Bath & Beyond and she is the first African-American woman to sell her designs at the retailer. The "B. Smith with Style Home Collection" sells duvets, comforter sets, pillows and much more.

With all her success it would be years before she would get a correct diagnosis for her disease.

"I don't know how long it was, but I guess I would say it was maybe two or three years," Smith said. "And I would sing sad songs: 'You've abandoned me. Love don't live here.'"
