It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Chicago Blackhawks battle it out on the ice against the Anaheim Ducks in Week 7 of the regular season on Friday, November 28 at 4:00 p.m. EST at the Honda Center in California. Following the first few opening weeks of the 2014 regular season, the Blackhawks snag the No. 8 spot in Pierre LeBrun's official NHL power rankings for ESPN.com with a 13-8-1 winning record:
"Like the Kings, a three-game win streak was snapped; for the Blackhawks, it came Sunday night in Vancouver. The Hawks have scored at least one power-play goal in five straight games."
Meanwhile, the Ducks currently hold the impressive No. 4 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 14-4-5 record. According to LeBrun:
"The Ducks have points in 10 of their last 11 games (5-1-5). A good one is on tap for Black Friday with the Blackhawks visiting the Honda Center."
