Michael Phelps has been released from rehab just in time to celebrate this past Thursday's Thanksgiving Day dinner with family and his on-and-off again girlfriend, Nicole Johnson.
"What a great thanksgiving dinner with family!!! @mamaphelpsh20 @hilary_phelps @nicole.m.johnson and everyone else!!!" Phelps captioned an Instagram photo.

Phelps entered a treatment program for alcohol in early October. As Mstars News reported back in October, the swimmer went to rehab after his second DUI and wrote to his fans before he went, saying, "The past few days have been extremely difficult. I recognize that this is not my first lapse in judgment."
Phelps made headlines even when he was in rehab after his "self-proclaimed" girlfriend, Taylor Lianne Chandler, announced a rather shocking confession -- that she was originally born a man and refers to herself as "intersex."
"I was born intersex and named David Roy Fitch at birth," the 41-year-old Chandler wrote on her page Facebook on Nov. 13. "By the time I could walk and talk I made it clear I was a girl and dressed as one. In my early teens I was medically diagnosed and went on testosterone blockers, at 15 estrogen enhancers."
