It's finally that time of year - basketball season!
The San Antonio Spurs battle it out on the court against the Philadelphia 76ers in Week 5 the 2014 season on Monday, December 1 at 7:00 p.m. EST at the Wells Fargo Center in PA. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Monday night basketball game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
To kick-off the NBA regular season, the Spurs snag the impressive No. 3 spot in Marc Stein's official NBA power ranking for ESPN.com with a 12-4 winning record:
"Questions persist about the severity of the "broken rib" Tony Parker just revealed and the ongoing Tiago Splitter calf issues that even Pop says have left the Spurs "very confused." What I'd really like to know, though, is what on earth Pop has in mind to try to cheer up his buddy Brett Brown on Monday night?"
Meanwhile, the 76ers currently hold the meager No. 30 spot (out of 30 total teams), with NO wins and a whopping 16 losses. According to Stein:
"On the heels of all those annoying How would they fare against Kentucky? questions, Thanksgiving Week spawned a new source of unwanted debate for the Sixers: Who will win more games this season? The 9-3 Eagles or the 0-16 Sixers, who have been in a one-possession game inside the game's final minute just three times so far?"
Will Philly end its losing streak against one of the best teams in the NBA?
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels FSSW and CSNP, but fans can also listen in on the radio at WOAI, KKTX, 1050 'The Fan,' and WEEX.
