Heaven is a place on Earth! The Victoria's Secret angels have descended upon London for the 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and it is definitely a sight to be seen. The first pictures from the lavish extravaganza have been released and some of our favorite models including Karlie Kloss, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, graced the runway as musical guests Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Hozier performed.
According to The Denver Post, 47 models will be walking the runway in their most festive attire including their best bras and lingerie as well as their signature angel wings. Two lucky ladies, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio, will be entrusted with the privilege of wearing the $2 million jewel-encrusted fantasy bra.
According to USA Today, the fact that the show has traveled across the Atlantic to London means that the brand is starting to take their global branding more seriously.
"By bringing this show to Europe, it really shows that Victoria's Secret is serious about broadening it's reach," Katie Ormrod, a retail analyst, explained to the publication.
Executive producer, Monica Mitro, couldn't be happier with the fact that the show has evolved over the years.
"We really wanted to do something bigger and better this year, and make it bigger and better," Mitro explained. "We're upping our game because everyone is always asking us how we're going to make it better than last year."
According to CBS News, 3,000 people were in attendance for the show, as Taylor, Ariana, and Ed Sheeran took to the stage. However, for those people without a ticket, you can watch the show on December 9 at 9 p.m. on CBS.
