Julian St. John, Son of 'The Young And The Restless' Star Kristoff St. John And Boxer Mia St. John Dies From Apparent Suicide: 24-Year-Old Suffered From Schizophrenia

MStars News has learned that The Young and the Restless star Kristoff St. John's son, Julian, died of an apparent suicide after suffering from a longtime battle with schizophrenia.

According to the Huffington Post, Julian St. John was diagnosed with the illness at 18-years-old.

He was only 24-years-old and was the son of Kristoff and boxer Mia St. John.

Julian was a young and talented artist, as some of his work has been shared by his family and the media.

Both Julian's parents, Kristoff and Mia, confirmed the tragic news that their son died Nov. 23rd via social media as they continued sharing their son's talented art pieces.

Julian's father also uploaded a few photos of moments spent with his son, like the one seen below.

According to PEOPLE, Julian was found unresponsive in the bathroom of a Long Beach facility. His death was ruled a possible sucidie, but officials are still conducting tests, and haven't determined the cause of death just yet.

"On November 23rd Kristoff St John and I lost our beautiful son, Julian St John. Our son was the light of our lives, an artist with a beautiful mind and spirit. He fought long and hard against an illness for which there is no cure," Mia wrote via Sqor Sports.

She added, "Unfortunately the pain became too great for him and I dare not say he lost the battle--he simply chose to set himself free. My fight for mental health will continue. They may not find a cure in my lifetime, but we can try and prevent the loss of another beautiful soul."

Mia also revealed that her son's funeral service will be held on his birthday, Dec. 5. where Julian's artwork will be on display for viewing. Julian would have been 25-years-old.

While nothing can remove our pain at the moment, we find solace in your messages and knowing how much our son, Julian St John was loved. Funeral services will be held on his birthday, December 5th at 3pm in Westlake, California. An open reception and art exhibit of his final collection will be held following service at 5:30pm 31416 Agoura Rd. # 110 Westlake Village, California"
