It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The St. Louis Blues battle it out on the ice against the Chicago Blackhawks in Week 8 of the regular season on Wednesday, December 3 at 8:00 p.m. EST at the United Center in Illinois. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Wednesday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Following the first few opening weeks of the 2014 regular season, the Blackhawks snag the No. 6 spot in Scott Burnside's official NHL power rankings for ESPN.com with a 15-8-1 winning record:
"The Blackhawks are starting to cook, with wins in six of seven, and they wrapped up their annual circus road trip with an impressive 5-1 record. Look out, Central."
Meanwhile, the Blues currently hold the equally impressive No. 5 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 16-6-2 record. According to Burnside:
"The Blues, no stranger to adversity, keep putting up wins even without goalie Brian Elliott. It's a big week for former Devils legend Martin Brodeur and his comeback attempt. Here's hoping he gets a shot at keeping his dream alive."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels NBCS and TVA, but fans can also listen in on the radio at KMOX, KTUI-FM, WGN, and WBUZ.
